Jack in the Box, home of good curly fries and notoriously bad tacos, is opening a new store today at 2020 South Federal Boulevard. Doors open at 9 a.m. with an inaugural fiesta including giveaways.
This is the second in a series of new, improved Jacks to pop up in the metro area. The California-based chain had left the area altogether a dozen years ago, then started its Colorado comeback several years ago.
The first new-look Jackdebuted in Aurora last month; this South Federal store will also feature the company’s new menu and new look. The resign includes decorative pendant lighting, ceramic tile floors and graphic wall hangings, and the 55-seat dining room has both booths and high-top tables. The drive-thru will be open 24/7, the dining room from 6 a.m. to midnight.
And the world’s worst tacos will be on special: two for 99 cents, so that means that Jenn in Chains will not only be there for the grand opening — she’ll be reviewing the reportedly new and improved fast-food fare with a taco in each hand.
Stay tuned!
