That was easy.

Yesterday, we asked Cafe Society readers to guess the location of Olav Peterson’s new restaurant, scheduled to open in early December, and the only clue we gave was in the form of a black-and-white photo from way back when.

But it was enough to generate several guesses, all of which were correct.

Question is, which of you was the first to get it right?

This year, make your gift count –
Invest in local news that matters.

Our work is funded by readers like you who make voluntary gifts because they value our work and want to see it continue. Make a contribution today to help us reach our $50,000 goal!

$50,000

That award goes to Patrick, who correctly guessed 500 East Alameda, the address of which originally belonged to a Sinclair filling station, and later Gary’s Auto Service.

Because of Patrick’s good sleuthing skills, he wins two seats to the opening of Bittersweet.

Patrick, please send an e-mail with your first and last name and e-mail address to lori.midson@westword.com.

Thanks to everyone for playing!
