The lovely old building a 777 East 17th Avenue has been home to many restaurants over the past few decades: the French Quarter (which explains the New Orleans look), the Peacock, the Dome, Majorca (where the owners commissioned an exorcism), Toby’s and, finally, J.R.’s, a legendary gay bar in town that closed last year. Last Friday, the space reopened as Pasquini’s Pizzeria. There’s been a Pasquini’s on 17th Avenue before — but it never looked like this. Keep reading for a look at the latest outpost of Pasquini’s.
