If you head to Boulder’s Chautauqua Park tomorrow to celebrate National Trails Day, you’ll find that the beautiful sights aren’t all outdoors. The circa 1898 Chautauqua Dining Hall has been renovated, a major project that involved removing the carpets and restoring the original wooden floors, adding two fireplaces, and installing hand-crafted tables. The bar now has a railroad theme: The bar top came from an old box car; footrests at the bar were made from a railroad tie.
