A restaurant that sounds like the motor sports centered version of a TGI Fridays is expanding into Colorado. The Sharon, Pennsylvania-based Quaker Steak & Lube has one of the most confusing and vaguely lewd names we’ve ever heard of, and its bringing its wings and ribs and steaks to Westminster come October.

The new restaurant, located at 10392 Reed Street, “is the perfect site for us due to the exposure it receives from heavily traveled U.S. Route 36,” says Robert Bolan, owner and partner of the chain. The company broke ground on the property April 26.

Marla Pieton, the restaurant chain’s senior director of marketing, says the company had been eying the location for some time. “Denver is just a great area to grow,” she notes, adding that she’s also interested in opening additional Quaker Steak & Lubes in Colorado.

Quaker Steak & Lube, named after an old Quaker State gas station that was converted into the original restaurant, has more than 35 locations around the country and Canada. The Westminster location will employ up to 200 people.
