The National Western Stock Show leaves town at the end of the rodeo today, but not before dropping money, memories and maybe a little manure into the local economy. On Friday, the very well-behaved 2016 Grand Champion Steer and the Reserve Grand Champion visited the Brown Palace for tea and photo opportunities — for the 71st year in a row. Danielle Lirette captured the action in a beefcake at the Brown slide show. Says Eären:

I hope there is always a little cow town in Denver. You can’t give up your history.
