In Best of Denver 2011, we served up many places to drink, including Best New Bar, Best Dive Bar and Best Tap House. But what if you’re looking for a drink and a smoke?
Frank asks:
Your last edition featuring “Best of” failed to mention best Cigar Bars. I would nominate Del Frisco’s Double Eagle. What’s your pick?
In the Tech Center, we agree with Frank’s call, and we’d puff on something from Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse cigar lounge, taking in the richly appointed mahogany surroundings with a glass of wine or a post-dinner brandy.

Downtown, we’d head to the Brown Palace for a taste of old-fashioned elegance, picking up one of the 60 selections of tobacco at the Churchill Bar, pairing it with a scotch or small-batch bourbon.
In Boulder, we’d wander to Johnny’s Cigar Bar, where you can smoke a stogie while sipping a local beer from the confines of a plush, leather armchair and enjoying live music five nights a week.
