TAG, you’re it.
The fallout from TAG continues to radiate across the restaurant scene, with the news yesterday that James Lee and Michael Pacovsky are going to Le Grand Bistro & Oyster Bar, Robert Thompson’s spot slated to open in the former home of Baur’s at 1512 Curtis Street late next month.
Jensen Cummings, TAG’s former chef de cuisine, is the new executive chef at Row 14. And Brian Melton and his sidekick, Ali Terrill, have both landed at ChoLon Modern Asian Bistro.
That last piece of news inspired this from Madison Green:
Who gives a f*ck?! This isn’t top chef of the mixology world! Give it a rest already
Which prompted this from IronyDiscovered:
If you don’t give a “f*ck” than quit reading Westword Blog. Clown!
And OneGordo can’t wait to try Melton’s new drinks:
Nice guys I can’t wait to see what you come up with, I know you probably have some great cocktails already ready to go. Good luck I’ll have to stop bye and check it out, smart move by Lon, its funny to see where everyone ends up.
And it’s keeping Cafe Society very, very busy.
