California-based Native Foods may have closed three locations in metro Denver, but that doesn’t mean vegan food is in trouble in this city. In the last month alone, two new vegan spots have opened in north Denver: Handy Diner, at 2958 Downing Street, and Love, Peace & Sol, a vegan soul-food spot that Lonni Byrd opened at 3435 Albion Street just this past weekend. And diners have welcomed both spots with open arms — and mouths. Says Ellen:
Once again, I’m beyond delighted that you are promoting the new plant-based restaurants that are popping up all over town. We’re going to Love, Peace & Sol Cafe on Tuesday (staying away from downtown and the Bronco crowds!) for a delicious and filling lunch. Thank you for reviewing this new restaurant with your readers!
