A river of alcohol was running through Cafe Society yesterday, with Laura Shunk offering her list of neighborhood liquor stores, Swirl Girl suggesting five bottles of bubbly for New Year’s Eve, and Colorado Beer Man Jonathan Shikes serving up his “ten best Colorado beers of 2011.”
Although several people have already complained about omissions on Shikes’s list — no Tommyknocker? — one reader (and drinker) was pleased that a certain name didn’t appear on the list:

Solid list. Excited to try some of your top hitters, and the fact that there’s no Oskar Blues (nothing personal against them, sure it’s a great company, love the canned concept etc. but the beers are just not good to me, especially the Dale’s Pale) shows me that you thought outside the normal Colorado box.
