The news that Joe Vostrejs and Larimer Associates plan to put the Lowry Beer Garden — a nearly 8,000-square-foot bar, authentic beer garden and pavilion — into the Hangar 2 project (which will also have a dozen restaurants in its dining district) had beer fans raising their steins in thanks.
Says Fletcher Davis:
I’m pumped. Lowry needs something like this. I just hope the community supports this exciting new development. Also, I hope there’s a dog friendly patio.
And it’s not just Lowry that could be going to the dogs…
Adds Mantonat:
Not just Lowry, but Denver in general!
Vostrejs isn’t kidding when he says there are very few authentic beer gardens in the US. I can envision spending a ton of summer and fall saturday afternoons at a place like this (also with my dogs, hopefully).
Now that Denver is getting an authentic beer garden, what else does it need? Post your thoughts below, or join the conversation already under way here.
