The challenges facing local news organizations are very real. That's why reader support matters more than ever. If you believe independent journalism matters, make a contribution today and help us reach our summer fundraising goal of $25,000 by August 9.
If you’ve noticed that there haven’t been the usual throngs of people milling around outside the second Snooze location at Seventh Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, waiting for a table, it’s not because the restaurant has lost any of its morning (or afternoon) cachet.

Rather, the spot has been closed for renovations — renovations that should be finished by Saturday, July 20, when those throngs of people will likely return to their favorite busy corner. And their favorite pancakes, a breakfast treat that has won Best of Denver awards from Westword for several years in a row.
Here’s the note on the Snooze web site:
Our lovely 7th & Colorado is set to take a much needed little break, using this time to beautify and set the world right. We will have arms wide open and back on the 20th!
Thank you for your patience and patronage, we can’t wait to serve you again! Oh, and fret not, you can always visit another Snooze!
