Last week, media mogul, rancher and restaurateur Ted Turner was spotted hanging around the corner of 17th and Pearl in Boulder in anticipation of the opening of the 55th outpost of his restaurant chain, Ted’s Montana Grill.

The expanding group serves up a meaty menu of American classics, including a hefty quantity of bison meat, which, as we reported last week, has been credited with helping to save the once fledgling bison industry.

The Boulder Ted’s Montana Grill location opens to the public today at 4 p.m.
