The Cheeky Monk will open its third location Sunday in the Orchard Town Center, at 14694 Orchard Parkway, in Westminster, with two separate bars – one that focuses on old-world Belgian beers and one featuring U.S. craft brews.
The Belgian beer café, which also has spots on Colfax Avenue and in Winter Park, has typically featured Old World beers, but owners Tina and James Pachorek decided to explore rare, unusual and Belgian-inspired American microbrews at the new spot.
They’ll typically feature just one keg of many of these special beers, in addition to several regular brews on tap, including St. Louis Gueuze Fond Tradition from Belgium’s Brouwerij Van Honsebrouck. All told, they will have 38 brews on tap.
For this weekend, they’ll have one-off kegs of:
Jolly Pumpkin’s E.S. Bam, a farmhouse ale
The Bruery’s Mischief, a hoppy Belgian-style golden strong ale
The Lost Abbey’s Angel’s Share, a bourbon barrel-aged American strong ale
La Chouffe, a golden blonde ale from Belgium
