Brava! Pizzeria Della Strada will be firing up its wood-fueled pizza wagon at Dish, Westword‘s eighteenth annual food event set for next Thursday evening, September 6, in the Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex.

Here’s what to expect from our 2011 Best Specialty Pizza winner:

Owners: David Bravdica and Thomas Garnick

Chef: David Bravdica

What will you be serving at Dish? Three dishes. A Margherita with crushed San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and organic basil; the “pig and fig” — a white pizza topped with hot coppa, fresh mozzarella, Gorgonzola blue cheese and figs; and Porchetta sliders: oven roasted pork shoulder, pesto and arugula on a brioche bun.

What’s your favorite dish on your menu? Depends on my mood…all of it!

Find all the details on Dish, including how to get tickets, here.
