This is the last day of summer – but Civic Center Eats is still going strong, with food trucks and entertainment. Since today is National Voter Registration Day, you can grab lunch and rock the vote at a registration rally at Civic Center Park. The Denver Votes Crew will have a booth in the park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; while munching, you can register to vote or confirm that your voter registration information is current. The preschool students from Montessori Academy of Colorado will kick off the rally at 11:45 a.m. with their rendition of “You’re a Grand Old Flag”; Denver Clerk and Recorder Debra Johnson and Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock will also speak.
Civic Center Eats will continue rolling into Civic Center Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday through October 8. For more information, visit the Civic Center Conservancy page.
