The Denver Wrangler’s new location at 3090 Downing Street opened to a rager on Sunday, August 14, after what appeared to be a wild pre-opening party on Saturday night. The official announcement that the town’s longtime bear bar had finally made the move from Uptown to the edge of Five Points came at 11 a.m. on Sunday, and the place was soon packed.

The Wrangler’s regular hours will be 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., but don’t hurry over now. The managers used social media to announce that the doors won’t open until 5 p.m. today. Keep reading for more of what you’ll see when you get to 3090 Downing, an address that has swallowed up eateries ranging from Tosh’s Hacienda to, well, Swallow. But the Wrangler should have staying power here.
