Those of us who love food tend to love it from all regions of the globe. But while we might appreciate certain exotic cuisines, it’s sometimes difficult to incorporate them into our own cooking repertoire.

You can change all that with Cook Street School of Fine Cooking’s A World of Taste series; the North Africa class runs from 6 to 9:30 p.m. tonight.

You’ll learn how to make white bean dip; carrot salad with olives and cumin; cucumber and feta salad; lamb skewers with chermoula and couscous, and follow all that up with oranges and dates with cinnamon and almonds. The meal, complete with wine, is included in each $79 class.

You can sign up at 303-308-9300; to learn more about World of Taste classes — including food from India, Thailand, Spain, Peru and Germany — go to www.cookstreet.com. Cook Street is located at 1937 Market Street.
