It’s not yet ski season, but you can get a taste of Beaver Creek at the annual Beaver Creek Wine & Spirits Festival. Closer to home, you can get a Taste of Douglas County.

From 5 to 8 p.m., The Taste of Douglas County will fill the Douglas County Events Center, 500 Fairgrounds Drive, with more than forty Douglas County restaurants,ranging from casual to fine dining. Tickets are $20; for more info, visit www.tasteofdouglascounty.com.

Beaver Creek Resort hosts the Beaver Creek Wine & Spirits Festival today through Saturday, August 21, featuring culinary talent, outdoor events and the winners of the San Francisco International Wine Competition and World Spirits Competition.
