The second Qdoba store to open, at 1533 Market Street, is now the second (after the Centennial location) to show off the home-grown chain’s new look — and any Auraria students who want to sneak a peek from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight will get free chips and salsa, along with dollar beers.
The design is more refined and contemporary (hello, Chipotle?), with the old murals replaced by artistic black-and-white images of food preparation and previous scupltures now embellished with more creative backgrounds. The original seating was replaced by more modern arrangements, with warmer wood tones. The staff has new uniforms, and there’s even a new soundtrack.
Tonight’s deal for Auraria students isn’t the only special. Through Saturday, it’s offering a five-dollar meal deal from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for all Denver residents. The entire chain has also introduced a scratch game for diners who eat-in; prizes range from a combination of chips and guacamole to a free queso burrito to a buy one, get one deal:
