The challenges facing local news organizations are very real. That's why reader support matters more than ever. If you believe independent journalism matters, make a contribution today and help us reach our summer fundraising goal of $25,000 by August 9.
Frasca Food & Wine, 1738 Pearl Street in Boulder, is pulling out all the stops for tonight’s installment of its weekly wine dinner: Marcus Samuelsson — the Top Chef Masters 2 contestant — will prepare a four-course menu inspired by Red Rooster Harlem, the restaurant he’ll be opening in New York City this fall. Frasca co-owner/sommelier Bobby Stuckey will pair wines with Samuelsson’s food. Tickets are $145; call 303-442-6966 or visit www.frascafoodandwine.com for reservations.
Elway’s Downtown, 1881 Curtis Street, is celebrating the summer solstice with White-Hot Wines of Summer, a five-course paired dinner featuring — what else? — white wines. Admission starts at $100; make a reservation by calling 303-312-3107.
