Fans of Top Chef will recognize TAG’s guest chef this evening. Chef/restaurateur Troy Guard will be teaming up with Top Chef Season 13 contestant Marjorie Meek-Bradley, executive chef of Ripple and Roofers Union in Washington, D.C., for a special TAG Guest Chef Dinner. Meek-Bradley served as chef de cuisine under Top Chef finalist Mike Isabella at Washington, D.C.’s Graffiato before appearing as a contestant on the show herself, where she ultimately fell one episode short of the finale.
Tonight’s event kicks off with a reception of cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m., followed by a five-course dinner, with each course prepared by either Guard or Meek-Bradley. The menu features dishes like braised endive with cashew butter, watermelon radish and marinated king trumpet mushrooms; line-caught tartare with organic barley, haricot vert and sour orange vinaigrette; carrot cavatelli with lobster, pea tendril and morel mushrooms; roasted rabbit Ballotine with spring peas, thumbelina carrots and TAG south Indian curry; and Greek-yogurt mousse with pistachio sponge cake and saffron poached oranges.
The dinner is $95 per person, or $135 with optional wine pairings; call TAG at 303-996-9985 to reserve your seats.
