n my recent blog on Frasca’s eventual move to a new building of its own from its current home at 1738 Pearl Street in Boulder, there was some confusion over where, exactly, that building will be. It will be constructed on the spot once occupied by Marisol Imports (where Jason Sheehan once took a drunken nap) at Ninth and Pearl in Boulder. That building was owned by the late Tom Eldridge, of Tom’s Tavern.

And although Tom’s Tavern has closed, it’s not disappearing. Bradford Heap of Colterra will open a new restaurant in that spot at 1047 Pearl Street sometime this year. And in the meantime, you can keep that 2010 countdown timer ticking for Frasca’s move. — Tyler Nemkov
