For the past seventeen years, Westword has paid tribute to Denver’s celebrated dining scene with its annual Dish soiree, a culinary blowout of the city’s best bites, sips and sounds.
This year, Dish will be bigger and better than ever — and at a new venue: Ninth Avenue Historic Park at Metro State. Not only that, but Cafe Society scribes invited some of our favorite restaurants and food trucks to join us there on Friday, September 9, where they’ll be serving samples of some of our favorite dishes. Of course, there will also be plenty of beer and wine, as well as a spirits celebration honoring the Art of the Cocktail, along with live music from acts including Air Dubai.
And we’re giving away two general admission tickets to one very lucky Cafe Society reader, who can correctly answer a question about one of the restaurants whose grub you’ll find at this food bonanza:
We want to know how many elk-jalapeno-cheddar dogs Biker Jim serves in a week.

In order to come up with the right answer, you’ll want to know this: Biker Jim has two hot dog carts, both of which operate five days a week; he also has a brick-and-mortar, which is open seven days a week.
The person who comes the closest to the actual number of elk-jalapeno-cheddar dogs that Jim slings from the carts and the restaurant during the span of a week, without going over, will snag the two tickets.
