What was once the Tavern Platt Park and Jack's Uptown is now Jack's on Pearl, which is two concepts in one: a reservation-only dining room serving raw oysters, spendy cuts of steak and the like; and a first come, first served upstairs space turning out reasonably priced burgers alongside margaritas and Negronis. We prefer the latter, thanks to the rooftop patio that offers views of the neighborhood.
