One of three Pure Medical Dispensary locations, Pure on Bannock hasn’t changed much since it opened in 2010, other than opening a recreational side. But why fix something that isn’t broken? The sparsely furnished waiting room remains wide open and welcoming to hippies and patients alike, with surrealist paintings and medical information hanging on the walls above vintage chairs. The bud room embraces a classy approach of substance over style, with a wooden, L-shaped bud bar and diagonal cases that display Pure’s daily menu of buds, edibles and concentrates, some of which are extracted in-house. Even more edibles, pen cartridges and smoking accessories hang behind the register alongside plenty of Pure merchandise. Pure features daily and weekly deals on a variety of products, and medical members receive 20 percent off flower every day.
