By the end of winter, we’re daydreaming about live outdoor music on warm nights at places like Red Rocks or Levitt Pavilion. But there’s also a new Colorado music festival to look forward to this summer: The inaugural Up in the Sky Music Festival will take place at the base of Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen from August 8 to 9.
And with one look at the initial lineup, you know that this will be major.

The festival will kick off on Friday, August 8, with sets from Glass Bearms, Suki Waterhouse and SG Lewes before headliner Rüfüs du Sol.
Saturday, August 9, offers another excellent lineup: Jensen McRae will start off the day, followed by Nessa Barrett and Role Model. Glass Animals will then take the stage before Kacey Musgraves closes out the festival.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, via upintheskyfestival.com.
If you have a Mastercard, you can access presale tickets starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, February 26.
