After opening the subterranean Below Bar at 1422 Larimer Street nearly two and a half years ago, owner Bill Ward did a bit of remodeling to the place, switched around some of the furniture, added a lot more mirrors turned it into a gay bar near the end of April. But we’ve received word that the club has reportedly gone dark. No word yet on what spurred the closure or what will happen to the space. We’ll keep you posted as more details become available.
