Keep Westword Free

Club Hollywood to open tonight in the former Rockstar Lounge space at 940 Lincoln Street

Last week, we reported that the Rockstar Lounge had closed after a year-and-a-half run. Starting tonight, the folks behind Pristeen Events, who have been hosting dance parties over the last year, are starting temporary teen nights dubbed Club Hollywood in the space that was once home to Zen Ultra Lounge and DC-10.

The club celebrates its grand opening tonight by kicking off its Wild & Free Fridays with DJ Fink spinning hip-hop, Top 40 and dance music. Doors open at 8 p.m. tonight and the first twenty people get in free. Club Hollywood will also launch Sleepless Sundays this weekend.

Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
