A DJ for more than ten years, Kimball Collins has a unique production style that makes the longest club set feel like a single, flowing unit. Collins, who hails from Orlando, sealed his reputation with a five-year residency at the legendary Beacham Theatre in the early ’90s, staking a claim for club music in the South. He went on to form PositiVibes Records and collaborate with Rich Dekkard to pump out hits like “Lushlife,” and other top-shelf techno and house mixes. His singles have been gobbled up by international labels and spun everywhere there’s room to dance. Catch Kimball at the Castle, 83 East 120th Avenue, Thornton, where he reigns with Etain on Friday, March 21.
