Oh, man! Maybe the Mayans are right after all, and we really are doomed. Here we are, a mere four days into the New Year, and already we have the first sign of the pending apocalypse: We’ve just learned that on Saturday, May 19, Creed is coming to the Paramount Theatre, where the band will perform its magnum opus, Human Clay (which, of course, gave the world the odious ode “With Arms Wide Open”), in its entirety — whereupon we will all surely fly into the sun. Tickets ($39.50-$79.50, plus fees) for this brodeo go on sale this Friday, January 6, at 10 a.m. via Ticket Horse.
