Okay, just got some good news/bad news. First, the bad news: Deer Tick’s show at the Bluebird tonight has been canceled. The band — or at least part of it — is dealing with an unspecified medical emergency preventing him/them from performing tonight. Sucks, but there’s good news: Tomorrow night’s show is still on as scheduled as of now, and a few of the guys from the band will join forces with Robert Ellis to form “Beer Tick,” a makeshift unit that will play a free show tonight at the Larimer Lounge. Tickets for tonight’s show will also be honored tomorrow, and refunds are available at point of purchase.
