Metal has always been a little cartoonish, so it’s no surprise that the biggest, best, most brutal metal band of all time is literally a cartoon. Utter masters of shreddingly awesome metal, Dethklok, stars of Adult Swim’s Metalocalypse, have descended to utterly destroy college campuses across the nation. This may be your only chance to see a cartoon band play a live show. And how does that work, exactly? No idea, but it probably has to do with eldritch rituals of necromancy. Or maybe puppets. Either way, you don’t want to miss seeing such hymns to brutality and senseless violence as “Go Forth and Die” and “Bloodrocuted” brought to life, then kicked to death on stage.
