Props to DJ Cysko Rokwell, who qualified for the U.S. Finals of the DMCs this past weekend in New York City, besting fifteen other DJs to earn his spot at this finals this August 7. There he'll compete against the country's best turntablists (including DJs Notch and Skip Ripkin, who qualified for the finals earlier this month at the Denver DMC regional -- see the former's routine after the jump) for the title. Cysko also placed second in the U.S. Supremacy Battle, in which he competed head-to-head against host of other DJs with a one-minute routine (as opposed to the typical regulation six-minute DMC routine). Unlike the DMC battle, which is judged by a points system, the Supremacy Battle is determined strictly by vote of judges and crowd's response to each routine.
