DJ Low Key brings Vinyl Goodness to the Meadowlark with Es Nine and DJ Discord

If you haven't heard, DJ Low Key has a new daytime party on the patio of the Meadowlark called Goodness. The third installment is slated for this Sunday, July 8, from 2-8 p.m. and will feature Low Key with Es Nine from Prime Element and DJ Discord of the Crunk Brothers, who will be dropping a full set of Brazilian music. This is an all vinyl edition of Goodness, which means Low Key and company will be spinning all their cuts on wax. If chilling on the patio listening to dope tunes isn't enough to entice you out, El Chingon (home of the one and only DJ Psycho) will be on hand, serving up what we hear are some killer tacos. No cover means no reason to skip this.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
