Hope the November 22 Evanescence profile or this extended Q&A with lead singer Amy Lee didn’t get you too revved up to see the combo in concert. Turns out that the show, scheduled to take place on November 25 at Magness Arena, was canceled at the last minute.
According to an article by 9News producer Colleen Locke that’s available on the station’s website, two unnamed members of the group came down with flu-like symptoms; they were treated at Porter Hospital and released. (At this writing, no additional information is available on either the group’s official site or its MySpace page.) The 9News piece notes that the concert won’t be rescheduled, with refunds available at point of purchase. Locke adds, “Ironically, the opening act for the tour is the band ‘Sick Puppies.'”
