Jonny 5 of the Flobots is performing and speaking tomorrow on the Auraria Campus as part of a rally to protest $452 million in proposed cuts to higher education in the state. Like most such mass-action political events, attendance is not only free but they'd love to have you come down and show solidarity. It should be a good opportunity to catch the Flobots frontman doing his thing gratis and do something good for the students of the state's schools. The rally starts in the Tivoli Commons area of the Auraria Campus at 1:30 p.m. and proceeds into a march, presumably to the Capitol Building, hopefully with torches and pitchforks but probably just with some clever slogans (a guy can hope, right?).
