The weather outside is delightful ... but not in New York. The National Weather Service codes the Big Apple as a "Winter Storm Warning" area at this precise moment, and that means fans of folk legend Julie Collins are going to have to wait a week or so before they get the chance to see her live.
Collins and her band were supposeded to appear tonight at the Paramount Theatre, and in fact, Collins is already here. But her band was supposed to fly out of New York today, and due to the "severe weather conditions," their flights were cancelled.
She's rescheduled to appear -- along with the whole crew -- on Sunday, March 25; all tickets for tonight's show will be honored then. Tickets are $35 to $45 and can still be purchased at www.livenation.com, 303-830-TIXS or the Paramount's box office at 1631 Glenarm Place.
And let's hope that Collins, at least, is enjoying the sunshine while it lasts. -- Amber Taufen
