Full Flavor Fridays (in association with Pleasuredome) will be bringing DJ ESP (aka Woody McBride) to Denver for the second time this year — and techno legend Spacetime Continuum (aka Jonah Sharp) for the first. Sharp released solo studio albums on the Astralwerks and Virgin labels in the ’90s, and also formed the influential Reflective Records imprint, leaving his mark on the emergence of techno throughout the past two decades. The Edinburgh native started as a drummer in art-school punk bands and (briefly) acid-jazz sessions, but Detroit techno and Chicago house changed his path forever. Sharp played a slot at the first-ever Detroit Electronic Music Festival and has remixed Nine Inch Nails, Meat Beat Manifesto and more. He’ll be releasing a three-track EP on Denver’s own Full Flavor imprint, and you can catch him with DJ ESP and Ivy, Brandon Brown and Greg Campbell at Bar Standard on Friday, November 25.
