Rockie and Adam Duncan premiered a new video this week, and as the name implies, "Cover Girl," directed by Vital Films out of Aspen, features pretty girls. Lots and lots of them. The only guys in this moving picture, in fact, appear to be Rockie and Duncan, and that seems to be just fine by them.

A legion of pretty ladies are running the show, whether it's from behind the camera or strutting on the cat walk. This video feels like what we'd see if a hidden camera were placed behind the full length mirror of any young woman in America between the ages of 18 and 25. The hook here is catchy, and the lyrics are storyteller fresh with tinges of old school rhyme flow. Rockie and Adam Duncan make a good team on this track. By the way, keep an eye on the young lady in the newspaper pants and black halter top. She steals the show.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
