, Friday, August 25, and Saturday, August 26, at the Banyan Market, provides a variation on a familiar expression by proving that, in the world of experimental, electronic music, everyone dances to his own drum machine. The third event of its kind sponsored by Ancient Desert Sounds and Recording studio, the two-day festival of sound and light: will exhibit some of the areas more extravagant arbiters of technocentric music: Ancient Desert Ritual, Pueblos Evolutionary Trick and Land Speed Record on Friday, and One, Vision Update, Aphelion and Sci-Fi Uterus (pictured) on Saturday. (Curious creatures from the Mystery Sandbox Puppet Theater troupe will also make an appearance on Saturday.) Found sound audio collages, MIDI meanderings, atonal ambience and a variety of live instruments will all make up the festivals diverse sonic Material. Sounds positively electrifying.
