It's been twenty years since John Legend dropped his debut studio album, Get Lifted, which propelled the singer to worldwide fame and earned him the first three of his thirteen Grammy awards. Now, Legend will perform the certified double-platinum album in its entirety on his just-announced Get Lifted Twentieth Anniversary World Tour.

The tour will kick off on May 27 in Glasgow, with Legend performing in forty cities across the UK, Euope and North America; It will land at the Paramount Theatre on November 19. Taking the stage with a giant backing band, Legend will sing songs from the Best R&B Album winner as well as deep cuts and hits from across his discography, which includes the newly released Get Lifted (20th Anniversary), whose remixes feature such artists as Black Thought, Lil Wayne, Killer Mike, Tems and Simi as well as eleven new tracks.

The album was originally released on Legend's 26th birthday through Kanye West's GOOD Music, with the now-disgraced rapper co-producing and co-writing several tracks and serving as executive producer. But even before Get Lifted, Legend was establishing a presence in R&B music, having worked with the likes of Janet Jackson and Lauryn Hill (he provided piano for "Everything Is Everything" on The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill while still studying at the University of Pennsylvania, from which he graduated magna cum laude). Including his twentieth-anniversary expanded Get Lifted album, Legend has released a total of eleven albums since 2004. He is also the first Black man to achieve EGOT status, meaning he has won each of the most coveted awards — an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.
