In possibly one of the strangest bills yet, we've just learned that KISS is slated to kick off this year's Cheyenne Frontier Days and rodeo on Friday, July 23. The other acts on the bill, we think you'll agree, are slightly less incongruous: Brooks & Dunn, Aaron Tippin & Neal McCoy, Clay Walker, Dierks Bentley & Miranda Lambert, Sugarland and Alan Jackson. The date also marks the start of another leg of the band's Hottest Show on Earth tour, which, as it happens, is skipping Denver this time around, and instead heading north to North Dakota the day after its gig in Cheyenne. Tickets ($38-$58) are on sale now at the Frontier Days site.
