Lissie, who was slated to perform tonight at the Bluebird, had to cancel the show.

"Just found out my vocal cords are ready to explode and if I don't stop talking and singing for at least 2 weeks-possible permanent damage," she posted on her Twitter account. "But I also want to have a long career and I'm gonna need to be extra disciplined and take care of my voice because I want it for life."

Refunds are available at point of purchase. Dylan LeBlanc, who was supposed to open for Lissie tonight, is reportedly playing a free show at the Larimer Lounge at 8:30 p.m. If that's not enough to assuage you, Lissie is the scheduled musical guest on tonight's Last Call With Carson Daly (going to guess that tonight's episode is taped).
