Update: We've just learned that the Locals special mentioned below only runs through the end of June, so you better get over there soon! Stylists will also reportedly be on hand at the Epilogues show this Saturday night to hook cats up with a cut and style. On a related note, the band is slated to play an acoustic set at the shop on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Are you a musician or do you just want to look like one? Easy, start delivering pizzas or waiting tables or bartending or working the door somewhere, spend all your discretionary income on beer and gear, and find a quaint, unassuming significant other to drive you around and let you crash on his/her couch (we know, stereotype much?). What's that? Oh, that pretty much describes you or your, ahem, significant other perfectly? Great. In that case, you'll be stoked to learn that you or yours (assuming you or he/she are a musician) can get a free haircut if you stop by Locals Barbershop on Fifth and Lincoln between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. "Any local band member or DJ" is elligible, according to the shop's website. No word on how long this offer lasts, though, so you better get in there. Oh and to get the free cut, make sure you bring a business card. We haven't been there yet, but the sounds of it, the place is pretty cool, with local art adorning the walls.
