Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
The NBA has a long and awkward history of team-produced Christmas music. Last year, the Nuggets did "Winter Wonderland" with all the production value of a local car commercial. This year's edition, released today, is more...well, entertaining at the very least. That's right, they remade Run DMC's Christmas classic "Christmas in Hollis." Turns out the Nuggets are not good at rapping. Video below.
We'd say Kenyon Martin has the best flow on the team, although Melo is definitely the most enthusiastic. Maybe he agreed to stay an extra month or something if the team let him pick the song. We're also big fans of Rocky's gangsta lean and Ty Lawson's Jam Master Jay impersonation. Enjoy.
