Colorado-based EDM artist Mersiv, born Anderson Benoit Gallegos, packed Red Rocks Amphitheatre alongside Seth David, Zen Selekta, Lumasi, and Alleycvt on Friday, April 4, unveiling a cutting-edge near-field Audiosphere listening experience. And despite the whirlwind of snow and sleet, fans showed up and out.
Known for his signature "Pretty Dark Loud" style that fuses freeform bass and dubstep, Mersiv has become a prominent figure in Colorado's music scene. His debut album, Pretty Dark Loud (2021), included such standout tracks as "Fire Dance" and "The Death Note," cementing his reputation as an innovative force in the EDM world.
