Denver has a new spot for folks to get down with the beats. Every other week at Chances Grill, 11th and Bannock, you’ll find Planet of the Breaks Fridays, a b-boy/b-girl competition that goes down on the second and fourth Fridays. During the interim weeks, there will be exhibitions going down, keeping the breaking culture moving until the next competition. Last Friday’s jump-off was helmed by DJ Diabolic and featured KentDub, Protégé, Domino, OM and Motion Theory on the dance floor. FYI: The gig is currently 21-and-up. Get your break on.
