Doom metal group Shrinebuilder, which features Scott “Wino” Weinrich (St. Vitus, the Obsessed), Al Cisnersos (Om, Sleep), Scott Kelly (Neurosis) and Dale Crover (Melvins), grabbed the top spot at Wax Trax with its self-titled debut for the week ending November 22. Slayer’s World Painted Blood and Them Crooked Vultures’ self-titled debut nabbed the second and third slots, while Mars Volta guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez’s Xenophanes and Jason Molina and Will Johnson’s duet album rounded out the top five.
