After performing at Red Rocks last year with the Royal Philharmonic, Sting returns to the area with his Back to Bass Tour on Sunday, November 20, at the Wells Fargo Theatre.
Backed by a five-piece band (including Dominic Miller, Rufus Miller, Vinnie Colaiuta, Peter Tickell and Jo Lawry), the singer and bassist will be performing stripped-down versions of his hits with the Police and on his own — culled, no doubt, from the boxed set celebrating his 25-year solo career, Sting: 25 Years, due out September 27.
Reserved tickets ($55-$130.50) go on sale to the public on Monday, September 26, at 10 a.m. through Live Nation and Ticketmaster , while American Express Card members can get tickets before they go on sale to the general public. Members of Sting’s fan club can also get tickets in advance with complete tour and ticket information at www.sting.com.
